Henley Extension

Creative Design and Structure was approached by a young family living in Henley-on-Thames and we were instructed to explore the potential to extend the existing end of terrace two-storey dwelling. The previous owners of the property had tried to gain permission for a similar development but were unsuccessful. As the building is located within a Conservation Area, the proposal needed to be sensitive to the local heritage and architectural language. The extension was designed to be discreet and sit well with local surroundings and at the same time provide the space much needed for the new owners.
The application to gain planning permission was successful so the clients instructed us to provide the information, including the Structural Design, for a Building Control Approval and Tender process.

The project is ongoing and the construction phase will begin soon.
